Stone's gullwing window creates an easy way to access the loading bin of your Defender. These have a polycarbonate sheet instead of glass. Polycarbonate is superior to glass in many ways. According to www.homequestionsanswered.com "...the composition of polycarbonate creates properties that make it hard to crack, break or chip. This increases the safety of building occupants from burglars, gun shots and hazardous outdoor weather phenomenon. Polycarbonate windows are very hard to break."
